I haven't blogged in a while...since February, actually, and a lot of stuff has been going on with me my and my family. So I'm going to start where I left off...

March 24, 2008 my Grandfather died. It was incredibly hard on all of us. I couldn't talk about him for a while without breaking down. Its still very hard. I would have to say that would be one of the hardest times in my life. People where apologetic, but I wondered if they really meant it sometimes. Did they really mean it? Or are they just saying it to be nice? I hated it.

Nothing really happened in April, May, or June, except for going to a ton of Chicago Fire games! I love going to those with my family. I feel like its our time to spend time together without worrying about church and other issues. And we all enjoy it. Its great!

July...July was a great month. Its was my birthday, and one of my best friends came up from Cartersville, Georgia to come and visit with us for two weeks! And she came to Engram with me. We went into Chicago and did all the touristy things that I have done countless times. It was a lot of fun! I'm supper glad she came!

Engram was good. I felt like its was very different from the previous years. I mean maybe because it was my last year or something. Or maybe because I went there and I was dealing with so much and I had a lot on my mind and plus God was dealing with me on some stuff, that needed to be dealt with. I got to catch up with some friends who I haven't seen in a couple years. It was good!

So I guess we are in August now. I went to a couple weddings, and they where very nice (eh). ha. Soccer started back up (yay!)! I was so excited! So I have been really busy with that, and I've met some great people. And get this....my Dad got a job at a soccer shop! Its so cool! He Just started the other day. And school starts in a couple days. To be honest....I'm not all that exciting. But I have to get over that because I have to do it anyway.

I just thank God that he was been providing for us. Its been a hard year. I've lost some friends that I thought I wouldn't lose. But God is good...he is always providing. My Dad got a job, the church is growing, and we have food and a roof over our heads. And we have each other, thats all that matters. I know...my life is a little boring...but whatever. ha.

NIU Shooting....

So Last Thursday (Valentines Day) There was a Shooting at NIU. Six People died (including the shooter) and I think at least 20 other people were shot (my brother wants me to tell you they were shot but didn't die) (ya he reading over my shoulder asking me to take him to the candy store (just what he needs right) anyways). At first it didn't really hit me has bad but these past couple days I've been really thinking about it and how it happened all so fast. We weren't even in Dekalb when it happened. We went to the new indoor water park in Rockford, and then we went to the Guitar Center (I needed a case for my guitar and some pic's) after that. And the clerk behind the desk was on the phone talking to somebody saying is everybody in Dekalb ok? And my parents started freaking out saying wait what happened in Dekalb?? And all that fun stuff. And it was supposed to be Valentines day and my parents were supposed to go out and see a movie or whatever they were gonna do. But guess what.....that didn't happen. They were at church most of the night, and then they went out to eat, but it was like it wasn't even Valentines Day. Apparently they talked about whats gonna happen this week and the weeks to come. So its been stressful. And every Night my parents are either at church or at a meeting (which that means I'm babysitting my sibs every night) or with the Billy Graham Emergency Response Team. And that also means my parents are very stressed out, (so please pray for them and all the area churches) well I think most of Dekalb and NIU is stressed. please pray.....

I know I haven't posted in almost a year (I'm sorry), but life has been crazy with school, church and everything else. Its snowed and we have about 5 inch. (fun right) so me and my brothers made a "snow fort" and had a "snowball fight". So I'm freezing right now. Last time I posted it was April.....I think. So I went to Puerto Rico in February for a missions trip so that was awesome fun. And then in May me and my family went to California for two weeks for a Pastors meeting that my parents had to go to. So for the first week my Aunt Jenny and her boyfriend Greg came to watch us and we went to Disney Land and to Beverly Hills and Hollywood so that was fun. And the second half we travel to San Fransisco (that was a long drive), we took the long way but the mountains and the scenery was beautiful. We made it to San Fransisco (finally) and we went did the touristy thing. So we took the Amtrak train home (fun....not really) and got one of those bunker rooms so me and Sarah shared one. Let me just say......I like flying a whole lot better. So that is May.....nothing much happened in June, July was my birthday. August I started High School (yeah!), nothing much happened in September, October ya nothing much except a couple birthdays. November, more birthdays and Turkey day, That was fun! and now its December and nothing much has happened yet. So have a great Christmas!

SNOW!

Its snowing! We have like 3 ft. of snow! Its awesome! Me and my brothers made a snowfort and we threw snowballs. And its really cold! (colder than I remember!)

We put our tree up and the lights on the house. Our tree has like 50 ornaments - its crazy!

And then yesterday we went to Chicago, to go see the tree's at the Museum of science and Indresrty. What it is - is that there is a bunch of tree's from around the world, Its awesome! Then we did the stuff at the museum that we have never done before and that was fun.

Then we went to this awesome Italian restaurant and the food was amazing! We sat in this little house type thing so it was like we weren't even in a restaurant. And then we went to the kringle market were their is ornaments and lot of German food, and a huge x-mas tree! It was a awesome time.

So my dad wants to put a BIG snow globe plastic thing in our front yard. (he wants us to be the neighbors who are talked about) Fun right? not.

Anyway. So we are doing X-mas at our house this year and usually we do it at my Grandparents, but since we moved into our new house we are gonna try it here.

Talking about my Grandparents, we just went to their house for Thanksgiving (there were like 25 people there) and all my cousins came, it was fun. But I have this one cousin who I don't really talk to actcally I don't talk to her, well anyways..................you get the picture.

so anyway I will write later.

Our New Puppie

So this is our dog. Her name is Molly. My Dad LOVES her.Molly Follows my Dad everywhere! We got her Tuesday and we took her to the vet yesterday and she has a cold. :(
I feel so bad cause she hasn't eating anything, but she is drinking a lot of water.
I'm so excited cause this is my first dog. We had a dog in Georgia but we only had her for a week, than we gave her to the shelter.
Snowy (our cat, our queen of the house) is mad cause we got Molly.
A dog and a cat...............um I will let you finish the story.
But things are going good other than that. So do you like her???

Golf, Golf, Golf.

What is my keyword here, hm, Golf? LOL. Sorry that I haven't bloged in a while I got busy, Anyway. Me my dad and a bunch of people from church went golfing this morning, it was fun! We did best ball, where the person who's ball is closer to the green is the ball that you will play from. So it was me my dad, and somebody else from the church, I did OK. We are going to Six Flags, Great America on Thursday and then me and my dad are going to Springfield after words to see the LPGA Golfers Play! I am so excited! My Dad wants to go to waffle House (which is in Springfield). I am not a big Waffle house fan ( threw up ones after I ate there.) My Dad said it was cause of the lemonade I drank, but I don't think it was. Lets change the subject, Yes? So we are going to six flags on Thursday and the cool thing about it is my grandparents live like a mile away from the park, so if we want to go eat lunch at my grandparents house we can instead of paying 50 bucks for hot dogs, and do stuff like that. And I am even more excited for the LPGA Tournament!

No comments. Boo Hoo! Boo Hoo! Boo Hoo! Ok I'm done. Man I haven't Bloged in a while. Feels really good! LOL! I am babysitting For my parents now while they are at the Hospital with my Grandma. My Grandma has this bone disease that makes her head swell up. I Just found this out like five minutes ago. So I need all the prayer I can get. She will be staying at the Hospital for a while. I really hope She gets better soon. Off that subject. Engram is in a week! I cant wait! If its anything like last year, It will be a blast! But I'm so sad because my best friend (Jordan) isn't coming. Boo Hoo! And ot STINKS that I haven't seen her in almost two years. Wow I cant believe that it has been That long! Two weeks ago I went to a Vineyard conference with my Family. I met 3 people. Two of them are sisters Bethany and Havalah Jones and Madelyn Musick. And then I knew a couple people from the area Vineyards. So I am watching The Sweet Life of Zack and Cody and they are from Italy I bet you didn't know that. I though that was pretty cool. And There is another girl from Disney ( I forgot her name)
And She is from Holland. My parents just called and said that my Grandma is getting a room at the Hospital So she is staying there for a couple days. So pray. Please and Thank You!

Birthdays

My Birthday is tomarrow! I cant wait! My Grandpa's birthday was on the 23rd and my grandma's is on the 4th of July and my my Aunt Colettes is on the 30th of July and mine is on the 1st of July.My Grandma told me that when she was a little girl that the fireworks were for her when it was her birthday. I thought that was cool.well I will write later.

Internship 2 :)

Oh my gosh! My Internship was so much fun! First I woke up at 5:30 ( I wasn't so happy!) ate a bagel ( there is a funny story to that!) and then we took the blue line "L". When we got there my Aunt showed me around ( the views were spectacular!) and then I met a lady and she asked me if I wanted a bagel I said, " I had a bagel at my aunts house. Thanks though!" and then she said,
"You aren't supposed to eat a bagel at your aunts house. You are supposed to eat one here!" ( that is not the funny part!) and then I met Constantino ( one of the sous Chefs) and he showed me around. He asked me If I wanted a bagel and I said, " Thanks but I had one at my aunts house." and of course he said, " You are not supposed to eat one at you aunts house. You are supposed to eat one here!" ( whoa - deja vous!, well I think that is who you are supposed to spell it! And that was the funny part.) I met everybody and then he showed me around. I went into the prep room and my first job was to put 50 loaves of bread on pans and then put them on racks for the bread to cook. Then I put 120 pieces of goat cheese on two pans and put them in the freezer. Then I helped put sushi on plates and decorated the plates like they said to do. After that I helped bread the catfish and after that I cut of the ends of mini cucumbers and mini squash, 200 vegetables later! ( my knife skills are ok, after a while I got used to it!) Then I got to pull the stems off the spinach. And then Chef told me stuff about menus and how to price them and how to buy things and that kinda stuff. And then he wanted me in the kitchen and he wanted me to feel how hot it actually is. I got to go on the line and I got to put plates in the oven to warm them up. And that was my morning! I had so much fun!

Internship :)

I'm doing a Internship at the Midday Club in Chicago, and I'm so happy!!!I'm helping Chef all morning( I'll try to be awake!) with kitchen stuff and I cant wait! This to me is a once in a life time chance. Thank you Aunt Jenny( She asked if I could do the Internship!Thank you!Thank you!Thank you!)! So I need to wear a white blouse and black pants and black shoes,and for all of that we went to salvation Army( that place gives me the creeps!!). Any way Theresa Auble (The secretary) need to get on. ( Did I say I was Happy?!?!?!?)I Cant wait to write about the most awsomest internship ever!!!!

Famine

Well the Famine went great! I raised $360, my goal! We went chalking and we went to people's house from the church and we chalked their driveways with scriptures, and so we did that for 2 hours! It was good! And my parents were gone that weekend, the were in Georgia for five days with out me! So my best friend is mad that I didn't come with my parents ( she lives in Georgia).
I 'm watching a show called ED, it is so cool! I love that show!

Baby Shower

So I'm going to a baby shower For my Best friends sister, so I kinda sorta got to make this quick!
We got her this big pillow thing, truth be told that I had one of those when I was a baby, But it kinda got ruined in one of our floods. So sad! So I'm going to this shower at 2:00pm. And its also a work day at the church, which means painting, stage building, wall putting upping , that sort of stuff.
I should wear work clothes there and bring nice clothes there in a wal-mart bag or something like that( the shower is at the church to in case you were wondering, of course). So my mom did one of her Stamping shows last night
( I happened to be there) and only 1 person showed up, the hostest ,me my mom and somebody else. So that is four people there. So I bought a ink set ,that $20.00 there, But I needed the ink for my stamps, and for four the hostess did a great sale! I mean for four people of course! And the hostess has this cute little baby! He is almost one and he was playing and such. It was so cute! Wow this is the longest blog I wrote! Well I need to go get ready for this shower! Write to ya later!

Golfer Girl

So I'm taking up golf! Very fun! You may laugh at this now,but when I win The LPGA , look who will be laughing. So what I'm thinking about doing in my life is win the LPGA make 20.million dollars ,open up a country club ( with a awesome golf course of course!) and have a restraunt inside the country club ,with my Aunt Jenny Catering Help! So that's what I want to do. Be a chef and still be a pro Golf player! Yeah!!!!!!! Well me and my brothers are going to go get lemonade at this little lemonade stand on the corner of the street. Hope its good!

Libray and Friends

We are at the Libary right now and my little brother is at this little kids libray program, and so I have a little time to talk.So have you ever thought about what your friends are doing while you are on the phone with him or her? Well I have! When I was at my Friend Bekah's house she was on the phone with her other friend. And you could tell that she wanted to get off the phone. So she was making funny faces and mocking her friend. So it was really Funny! So Bekah just got her new blog!!! She is so Happy! I am eating chicken pot pie right now! Very tasty!! LOL! Well for the 30 hour famine I raised $250 in 1 month and 2 weeks. And than this week I raised a woppin $4!! And the crowed goes wild!! Woo Woo!!! LOL! I have nothing to say its pathetic! I read my Dads blog, and he's got a lot to say, so you should check his out! YOUTH GROUP

Hi again! Well for my youth group we are doing this 30 hour famine A.K.A Fundraiser. What it is... I am (well not just me of course) raising money for kids around the world who are dying and hungry so we are raising money for that, and I personally am doing good(I think). So yesterday we made posters of countries that we are praying for and I got Afghanistan. It is a big world but we can get through this together. Thats the funny side of me!LOL! Oh ya and my youth leaders Jeff and Theresa!! People give them a hand!Go youth chick!! Go youth guy!!
